Minami-Osawa Campus, 1-1 Minami-Osawa, Hachioji-shi, Tokyo 192-0397, Japan. Approximately 40 minutes from Shinjuku via Keio Sagamihara Line.
From Shinjuku Station, take the Keio Sagamihara Line toward Hashimoto and get off at Minami-Osawa Station. The campus is a short walk from the station.
Open in Google MapsHMDS meets at Minami-Osawa with direct rail access to central Tokyo's cultural and technology districts.
There are limited hotel options directly around Minami-Osawa. Hachioji Station is a practical base because it has more hotels and restaurants, good rail links, and an easier morning commute to campus than central Tokyo. HMDS takes place during Japan's spring travel season, so early booking is strongly recommended, especially around Hachioji.
A larger Hachioji hotel near the station area, useful for delegates who prefer full hotel services. It also promotes Sanrio character rooms in West Tokyo.

Shinjuku is convenient for sightseeing and has many hotels, but the commute is longer and spring rates can rise quickly. Reserve early if you prefer to stay in central Tokyo.
Official hotel siteSuggested priority: book near Hachioji Station first, then consider Hashimoto or Shinjuku if Hachioji rooms are unavailable. Please confirm prices, cancellation rules, room photos, and rail routes before booking.
