Scientific scope of HMDS 2027
HMDS 2027 is for work that does not sit neatly inside one discipline: models, machines, controllers, software, data, and people working together as one system.
We are especially interested in papers that show how domains interact, where the coupling is difficult, and what the proposed method changes in practice.

Full-paper route after the symposium
HMDS 2027 full-paper proceedings are being prepared for Springer's Mechanisms and Machine Science route, a Scopus- and Ei-Compendex-listed book series. Published chapters receive DOI metadata, and Springer book volumes are issued with ISBN metadata.

Welcome to HMDS 2027
Welcome to HMDS 2027. We look forward to hosting colleagues in Tokyo for four days of focused talks, discussion, and new collaborations around heterogeneous and multi-domain systems. The symposium will meet during spring in Japan, and we are pleased to welcome the community to Tokyo at a season associated with renewal, exchange, and new connections.
